Gold & Silver at International Contest

Students of the Department of Physics & Technology of Astrakhan State University have won medals at the Open International Internet-Olympiad in Information Science.

This intellectual contest has been held since 2008. Over 80, 000 students from 737 universities of 19 countries have taken part in it. This year, about 800 students from 145 universities have contested in Information Science.

Ivan Kolesnikov and Mikhail Ilmenskiy, who study Mechatronics & Robotics at ASU, have won a golden and a silver medal respectively.
