ASU Arranges Astrakhan’s First City Quest in Philosophy

In early June 2016, the First City Quest in Philosophy was held in Astrakhan; the event was hosted by Astrakhan State University and arranged by its Chair of Philosophy.

23 teams, which included about 300 students of Astrakhan’s higher and secondary educational institutions, have taken part in the quest. It included three tours; its participants had to demonstrate their teamwork skills, as well as their knowledge of Philosophy. They were also supposed to know the history and culture of their home region well.

The team of the Department of Foreign Languages of Astrakhan State University won the quest. As for the 2nd and the 3rd places, they were taken by teams of Astrakhan State Conservatory and Astrakhan State Medical University respectively.
