Let’s Support World No Tobacco Day!

On May 31, 2016, Astrakhan Region’s Center of Medical Prophylaxis and Astrakhan State University arranged an event dedicated to the World No Tobacco Day.
120 students of various Department of our University – future economists, historians, lawyers, sociologists, journalists, physicists, engineering, linguists, etc. – took part in this event. They could learn a lot of interesting and useful information. Anyone could take an express examination, which included a blood glucose test, a smokelizer lung test to detect carbonic monoxide, measurement of arterial oxygen saturation, arterial pressure, and a psychologist’s consultation about giving up smoking.
