US Professor Came to Astrakhan to Teach Our Future Masters

Professor Cher de Rossiter from Clark University (Massachusetts, USA) has delivered two academic disciplines in Astrakhan – “Organizational Behavior & Leadership” and “Intercultural Communications” – for students covering double-diploma programs by Clark University and Astrakhan State University.

The two courses were full of new case studies, group projects, and video materials, which were presented to both Russian and foreign students. The audience included such experts as Prof. Ravil Arykbaev (Dean of our Agrarian Department), Prof. Lyudmila Baeva (Dean of our Department of Social Communications), Prof. Oxana Mineva (Dean of our Department of Business & Economy), Prof. Ella Skobleva (Dean of our Department of World Economy & Management), and Prof. Galina Palatkina (Dean of our Department of Pedagogics, Social Work, & Physical Training). Our people have covered the whole cycle of lectures and defended their individual and group projects. Their national diversity was considerable: there were citizens of Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Ghana, and Benin; all those people learnt the art of leadership and intercultural management together.

Now that all the projects have successfully been defended and all the difficulties are left behind, only good impressions remain. Let us congratulate our future masters on their successful completion of the current term!

The double-diploma program by Clark University and Astrakhan State University shall be resumed in September. We look forward to seeing new students in Fall 2016!
