Our Master Student Becomes Performer of Circus Show

Alfiya Sarsenova, a 2nd-year master student of the Department of Social Communications of Astrakhan State University (she specializes in Culture of Mass Communications) has been invited to the show ballet of one of the world’s best circus projects “Show of Water, Fire, & Light” that is directed by Mr. Anatoliy Sokol, a Meritorious Artist of Russia (Golden Circus of Yuri Nikulin).

Alfiya points out: “It was uneasy for me to join the working process, as our choreographers are strict and demanding. Yet, I didn’t have to do anything impossible – I was to do only what I could do. It’s really interesting to work and talk with such talented and renowned actors, who won numerous prestigious circus prizes. I like the very atmosphere of the circus; I’m proud to join this team of professionals”.

Before joining the famous show, Alfiya supervised the Big Dances project at the Department of Social Communications for three seasons; thanks to her, the team of our Department was always a laureate of the annual Festival of Student Socialization.
