ASU Signs Agreement with SearchInform Company

Astrakhan State University and the SearchInform LTD are pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement to train specialists in information security.

According to the signed agreement, Astrakhan State University shall receive the software package “SearchInform DLP” (one of the most demanded DLP systems at the Russian market), as well as training materials to master its application. The company shall arrange the special training for the faculty of our Chair of Information Security “DLP Systems Application Practice” to issue them certificates confirming the obtained competencies in application of its software products. Our students will be able to master the new products of this company, too. Besides, staff of the SearchInform LTD will meet our professors and students to discuss the syllabi of educational programs, introduce joint research projects, etc.

An essential aspect of this cooperation is the program of certifying our students, which shall surely provide them with a comparative advantage at the labor market.

Prof. Iskandar Azhmukhamedov, Head of the Chair of Information Security of ASU, remarks: “We highly appreciate our interaction with SearchInform. Joint efforts of practicing specialists and our faculty shall make it possible for ASU to graduate specialists who are able to tackle even the most complicated tasks in the field of information security”.
