Conference in Chemistry for Secondary School Students Held at ASU

On May 17, 2017, the 9th Applied Scientific Conference of Secondary School Students in Chemistry “Young Researcher – 2017” was held at the Chemical Department of Astrakhan State University.

The event agenda included five sections for about 50 school students to present their reports. The participants presented their findings in such fields as “Chemical Experiment as Base to Cognize Surrounding World”, “Astrakhan Region’s Ecological Issues”, “Interdisciplinary Aspects of Chemical Science”, “First Steps in Cognition of Surrounding World”.

Every single year the number of young participants is increasing; the range of their research activities is getting wider. Thus, young researchers are getting more interested in Chemistry.
