German Professor from Magdeburg Visits ASU

Dr. rer. nat. habil. Juri Tolujew from the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF (Magdeburg, Germany) has visited Astrakhan State University.
Our German colleague had a number of meetings with students of our Department of World Economy & Management; the meetings concerned simulation modeling that applies modern software. Such tools are used to avoid or reduce losses when any new system is set up.
Dr. Tolujew has been involved in project-oriented activities for 15 years. He has taken part in over 30 projects that applied quantitative research methods, as well as modeling of manufacturing and logistics systems.
