South Korean Ambassador Meets Countrypeople at ASU

On April 13, 2018, Mr. Woo Yoon-keun, Ambassador of South Korea to the Russian Federation, met representatives of the Khamke Idon Korean Cultural Center at Astrakhan State University.
On behalf of the Khamke Idon Center, its Director Mr. Sergey Tsoy gave the distinguished guest a letter of thanks for his help and cooperation. The Ambassador talked with Korean people residing in Astrakhan; he answered their questions and thanked them for preserving the Korean culture on the Russian land: “My most profound respect and homage to you. You are developing our traditions and contribute a lot to friendship between our countries”.
The distinguished guest pointed out that the South Korean Embassy to Russia always remembers its countrypeople: various events and educational programs are available for them.
At the end of the meeting, there was a concert organized by the Khamke Idon Center. Wearing Korean traditional costumes, the concert participants presented national dances and songs to the audience.
