Citizen of Azerbaijan Graduates from Caspian Higher School of Interpreting & Translation of ASU

Today the official ceremony of presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting & Translation has taken place at Astrakhan State University. Etibar Babaev, an Azerbaijani citizen from the city of Ganja who previously graduated from our Law Department, is one of those graduates.

A number of distinguished guests have come to the ceremony – Mr. Alexander Zhilkin (Governor of Astrakhan Region); Mr. Konstantin Markelov (Acting Rector of ASU); Mr. Adalyat Guseynov (an Honorable Citizen of Astrakhan).

The Caspian Higher School of Interpreting & Translation is a joint project by Astrakhan State University, the Directorate‑General for Interpretation of the European Commission, the Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences of the European Parliament; it is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the United Nations Department for General Assembly and Conference Management, and the Government of Astrakhan Region.
