Astrakhan State University Kicks Start to a New Stage of International Friendship
The ASU assembly hall hosted an opening ceremony of the Astrakhan stage of the 3rd Russian-Uzbek Youth Forum. Delegates from Uzbekistan, including public officers, businessmen, academic community members and representatives of public interest organizations, gathered in Astrakhan in order to tackle urgent tasks together. Active members of the Russian and Uzbek youth communities were the main participants of the forum.
The events are taking place in three cities — Moscow, Astrakhan and Volgograd. The forum is organized by the Federal Youth Agency, Resource Youth Centre, Russian Union of Youth, Youth Union of Uzbekistan and several universities, including Astrakhan State University.
Konstantin Markelov, the ASU Acting Rector, welcomed the guests at the opening ceremony: «We are glad to welcome you at our university. Such a forum makes our countries closer, and those projects and initiatives that will be discussed today will form the basis of cooperation between the Russian and Uzbek youth communities».
The rector received a letter of gratitude from the Russian Union of Youth for the forum organization.
The 3rd Russian-Uzbek Youth Forum aims at uniting talented youth of two countries, initiating new projects in different spheres, providing platforms for implementation of promising start-ups and outlining directions for further development of international cooperation.
