ASU Publishing House Works on a Book about Mining.

A book entitled «Geochemical Methods of Oil and Gas Deposits Exploration and Exploitation» addresses an urgent issue related to optimization of approaches to industrial geological exploration. It is associated with a number of technical, natural and environmental problems, since in the course of the work there is a man-made impact on the environment.

It is necessary to use information obtained in the process of research and practical activities for optimization of directions, exploration scales and resources extraction. The economic efficiency of geological exploration depends on a balanced set of methods for mineral resources exploration, engineering, geological and environmental studies. Therefore, theoretical methods based on research, comparison and correlation of geochemical database and knowledge help minimize negative impact of exploration and subsequent exploitation of deposits on the environment.

The book prepared by Oleg Serebryakov, Lyubov Ushivtseva and Andrey Serebryakov, trainers of the ASU Faculty of Geology & Geography, is meant for students of geological majors, as well as for practising oil & gas experts.
