ASU and the Regional Ministry of Industry Will Train Industrial Experts Together
Astrakhan State University signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Industry, Transport and Natural Resources of the Astrakhan region.
The signing ceremony was held on October, 29 at the Engineering Research & Industry Council meeting. The document was signed by Radik Kharisov, the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Astrakhan region and the regional Minister of Industry, Transport and Natural Resources, and Konstantin Markelov, the ASU Acting Rector.
The signed document gives an official status to the cooperation between ASU and the Ministry and offers new prospects for joint work.
For example, the agreement provides for training professionals on the basis of integration of research, educational and industrial activities. ASU will also develop research cooperation with the Young Specialists’ Council of the Ministry.
The Ministry will support further cooperation of our university with enterprises of the Astrakhan region, and it is planned to tackle high-priority production tasks together.
The agreement has a special clause on holding events aimed at introduction of a regional standard to ensure human resources for industrial growth needs in the Astrakhan region, which will allow to provide regional companies with highly skilled experts duly and on a regular basis.
