Marathon of Student Talents: «Student of the Year — 2018» Starts at ASU

The All-Russia stage of the Russian national award for professional educational institutions started vividly. The event hall of Astrakhan State University hosted an opening ceremony, where the award participants and guests got many wow moments and surprises from ASU.

«Student of the Year — 2018» is taking place in two cities: Kazan will receive representatives of higher educational institutions while Astrakhan is hosting events for participants from colleges and technical schools. ASU is one of the main organizers of the project in the Astrakhan region, and the main events of the award will take place at our university. 200 students will have 3 days to pass different tests, develop their skills and meet new friends at Astrakhan State University.

Konstantin Markelov, the ASU Acting Rector, congratulated the participants. The audience was also welcomed by Irina Karikh, the Director of the Russian national award «Student of the Year — 2018», and Igor Martynov, the Chairman of the Astrakhan Regional Duma. They wished the participants success and rewarding experience.

After the opening ceremony the participants went to the first stage tests held in ASU classrooms. They will have a lot of chances to approve themselves. A great marathon of the best Russian students is on the way!
