Foreign Students Acknowledge ASU Comfortable Environment
Students of the ASU Faculty of Business & Economy discussed interethnic tolerance in a multicultural region.
The participants were invited to analyze modern interethnic relationships, causes and consequences of interethnic conflicts. During the active discussion, the attendees were equally of the opinion that respecting ethnic, religious, cultural and other differences is an important quality for personal education, while intolerance on the part of certain individuals is mostly connected with a low level of their education.
Foreign students, participating in the event, gave their own examples of typical situations of growing intolerance in their countries. They confirmed that the Astrakhan State University student community has no interethnic intolerance.
