ASU Publishing House Is Ready to Publish Two Books on Environmental Issues

Astrakhan State University is going to publish a monograph and proceedings of a research and practical conference.

The book of Tatyana Dymova and Marina Bezuglova, associate professors of the Faculty of Geology and Geography, titled "Sustainable Integrated Development of Tourism in Astrakhan region", summarized information on assessment, peculiarities, limitation factors and prospects of ecotourism in specially protected natural reservation areas of the region.

The monograph authors developed a project of environmental route and proposed different ways of ecotourism organization in accordance with the regional needs.

The collected papers "Zoological Excursions around Astrakhan Region and Teberda Nature Reserve" (compiled by Farit Miniyarov, an associate professor of the Department of Biotechnology, Zoology & Aquaculture) include articles and speeches of participants of a research and practical thematic conference. The first two sections of the book contain articles, written by Biology students of the major "Preservation of Animal Biodiversity of Southern Russia". The third section presents the results of studies on animal eating behavior and technological aspects of breeding invertebrates in artificial conditions.
