ASU Is Preparing for an International Project

Astrakhan State University held a working session on preparing and holding the Russian-Uzbek meeting on the issues of development of bilateral agreements in the sphere of higher education and the interregional conference of rectors of Russian and Uzbek HEIs in Astrakhan region.

The session was attended by Vitaly Gutman, the Acting Minister of Education and Science of Astrakhan region, Denis Afanasyev, the Acting Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Astrakhan region, Larisa Vasilieva, the Acting Minister of Culture and Tourism of Astrakhan region, heads of Astrakhan HEIs and experts of regional ministries.

The session format was quite efficient and businesslike; the participants put forward and considered important issues.

The planned activities will be very relevant for the spheres of education and international cooperation, and Astrakhan region is ready to become a decent platform for their organization.
