The Law Faculty of Astrakhan State University has held a round-table discussion with Prof. Federico Pernazza from the University of Molise, Italy. The foreign expert’s visit became possible within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme.
It should be recalled that the professor arrived at Astrakhan State University on March, 18. The programme of his stay in our university includes a series of lectures for students, as well as other events, including a workshop and meetings with the university administration.
Yesterday, on March 21, the professor met with Law teachers during a round-table discussion. At the beginning of the meeting, the guest shared his impressions from his stay in Astrakhan. Prof. Pernazza noted that Astrakhan region has several unique features and is very promising in terms of cooperation and joint projects with representatives of other countries.
According to the professor, it is the first experience of such kind for his educational institution. Now five ASU students are studying in the Italian university, while two representatives of the University of Molise are studying in Astrakhan.
The discussion aimed at an exchange of experience in the sphere of mediation and arbitration systems. The professor expressed a wish to involve his colleagues into an international juridical dialogue in future. The meeting at ASU was the first step, made quite successfully thanks to the university’s interpreters and the Law Faculty teachers’ openness and expert knowledge.
