ASU Scholars Tell Rural Teachers about Ways of School and University Integration

In May, representatives of the Faculty of Philology & Journalism of Astrakhan State University participated in the educational seminar “Interdisciplinary Links and Integration of Subjects in Modern School”.

The seminar involved teachers of the Privolzhsky district and representatives of education authorities. The cooperation with urban and rural secondary educational institutions is one of the top-priority areas for the Faculty of Philology & Journalism. This time, Lyudmila Kasyanova, Doctor of Philological Sciences and the Dean of the Faculty of Philology & Journalism who moderated the seminar, told the participants and guests about the vectors of the school and university interaction and possible ways of their integration at the modern stage.

Malika Kunusova, an Associate Professor of the ASU Department of Modern Russian Language, was the main speaker during the round table discussion. She gave valuable recommendations to the teachers on modelling of a modern Russian lesson and on formation of the communication competence in schoolchildren.
