ASU on Island 10-22: Konstantin Markelov’s Feedback Is Published in the Main Bulletin of the Workshop

Every day the Information Bureau 20.35 team compiles a unique and bright bulletin “Island Pulse” which contains the most important events and participants’ feedback of the last 24 hours of the workshop. The ASU Acting Rector has shared his impressions from the work on the Island and his plans for the university transformation in the column “The Rector’s Speech”.

"The Island is mind blowing. We came here with a prepared project of the university development strategy, but thanks to the workshop we are changing our approaches and plans on the strategy introduction completely. The Island allowed us to form a team that will keep working on-site, i.e. at the university. We’ll create transformation committees for each priority areas, involving both the university units and our business and executive authority partners. I’ve got special impressions from Shchedrovitsky’s lecture, lectures by representatives of foreign universities who share their opinion on prospects of the higher education development. I’d like to mention master classes on strategic management, endowment funds, fundraising, training of entrepreneurs and opening of „boiling points“. The Island itself is a big boiling point, and it’s still quite difficult for us to imagine how we’ll come back to the university and interact with our partners and team-mates in the region and at the university. We’ll have to inflame them as well and set the same pace of work there," says Konstantin Markelov.

It should be noted that this issue of the bulletin "Island Pulse", dated July 19, contains the statistics on the signing of agreements with the providers of the University 20.35 services. Here the team of Astrakhan State University is among the leaders. The number of signed agreements is registered at the NTI Ecosystem Services Catalogue website.
