Konstantin Markelov Is Officially Confirmed as ASU Rector

It’s become known today that Mikhail Kotyukov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, signed a respective order.
The official document (Order No. 20-02-01/166 of the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education dated 13.08.2019), confirms Konstantin Markelov’s appointment to the position of Rector of Astrakhan State University for the period of 5 years — until August 14, 2024.
It should be recalled that Konstantin Markelov has been fulfilling the duties of the ASU Rector since February 8, 2018.
