ASU Teachers Will Give Lectures within International Online Against COVID-19 Campaign
The Project Office of International Cooperation and Development of Astrakhan State University is launching a unique project which includes a series of online classes, round tables, discussion platforms and master classes.
Respective agreements have already been reached on ASU teachers’ delivering online lectures in Zoom and Skype for foreign students of partner universities. Besides, foreign colleagues have been invited to join the project and hold online events for students of Astrakhan State University.
The International Online Against COVID-19 is aimed at drawing attention to the issues of distance learning during the period of the coronavirus spread. The project programme includes a series of various online events that are free of charge and can diversify the training process for students who have to grind away at their studies remotely.
Four lectures by teachers of Astrakhan State University are planned for the near future:
- “Microprocessors and microcontrollers. Introduction.” Speaker: Director of the ASU Institute of Physics & Mathematics Aleksey Rybakov (tentative date and time: May 12, 15h00 Moscow time).
- “Artificial Intelligence and Computer-Assisted Teaching in Layman’s Terms”. Speaker: Head of the ASU Artificial Intelligence Project Office AleksandrKoshkarov (tentative date and time: May 14, 15h00 Moscow time).
- “Memristors and Neuromorphic Processors”. Speaker: Director of the ASU Institute of Physics & Mathematics Aleksey Rybakov (tentative date and time: May 15, 15h00 Moscow time).
- “Astrakhan and Northern Provinces of Iran in History of Russia-Iran Relations”. Speaker: Head of the ASU Department of Foreign History & Regional Studies Vladimir Kulakov(tentative date: late May 2020).
