ASU Will Teach Principles of Fighting against Corruption in Education

Professors of the Law Faculty of Astrakhan State University have developed an additional professional programme of advanced training “Countering Corruption in University”.

Participants will study the RF legislation in the sphere of countering corruption in general and peculiarities of the legal regulation of state and municipal authorities and educational organizations in the sphere of implementing the anticorruption policies; they will learn the notion and nature of corruption as a social phenomenon, consequences of corruption offences, elements of countering corruption, as well as the requirements to an educational organization chief in accordance with the legal norms in countering corruption.

The course programme includes the following sections and topics:

• Corruption in education: notion and peculiarities of manifestation;
• Legal framework of countering corruption;
• State policy on countering corruption;
• Legal liability for corruption offences;
• Corruption risks and their assessment in an educational organization;
• Anticorruption activity in an educational organization.
