ASU Enters Russian Universities Ranking “National Recognition 2020”

The list is published on analytical website “Univer.EXPERT — Academic Critic”. It is formed by analysts every year. The criterion for analysis is educational institution’s expert potential with professors’ contribution to subject areas, based on the data available in open resources.

The universities were also assessed by recognition of its scientific, innovative and research achievements by the national (Russian) professional community.

Astrakhan State University ranks 143th in the general ranking. The experts assessed 639 higher education institutions of Russia. The general ranking was formed by summing the specialized ones, compiled by specific fields of science (engineering, social sciences, Humanities, medicine, etc.).

As for the ranking of classical universities, here ASU ranks 48th out of 98 HEIs.
