ASU Scientists Presented 35 Projects for Participation in ASI All-Russia Forum

On August 15, the Astrakhan Commercial & Industrial Chamber hosted presentation of forum “Strong Ideas for New Times”, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and Roscongress Foundation, which will take place on October 2020 in Sochi. Though being new, the project is rather large-scale — it involves executive authorities, social and commercial organizations, business communities and Russian citizens who are interested in it.

More than 2,000 ideas and about 15,000 participants from all over the country have been registered for the forum so far. By now, Astrakhan region has presented more than 40 scientific and business projects.

The idea of the all-Russia forum is to select 100 best projects, implementation of which will allow to make people’s life more high-tech and comfortable in the new economic conditions. Applications are accepted for submission until August 24, 2020. Forty-five projects, presented by Astrakhan companies, professors and students of regional universities have all the chances to enter top-100 and to be implemented.

Presenting the projects of Astrakhan State University’s scientists, Head of the Directorate of Strategic Development & Priority Programs Realization Olga Altman noted that ASU has been cooperating with ASI in several highly-promising areas for a few years, and when the Agency launched the new project, our scientists got involved into it quite actively.
