ASU Students Are Told about Standards of Hotel Services

Astrakhan State University is one of the leading educational institutions that train professionals with service majors. Longstanding and fruitful cooperation of the university with regional enterprises of tourism and hotel industries allows to organize on-site tours as part of the educational process.

For example, this week, 3-4th year tourism students have participated in an introductory tour of Zolotoy Zaton business hotel, organized by the ASU Faculty of Economy & Management and the Astrakhan Tourism & Information Centre. At the meeting, the students were told about the hotel room capacity, technologies of reception and accommodation of guests and the service standards.

The students of Astrakhan State University got much interested in the issue of specificity of hotel staff’s work in accordance with the recommendations for hotels concerning the COVID-19, issued by the Russian Agency for Health and Consumer Rights. The students got comprehensive answers to all their questions and were happy with the event.
