Graduate of ASU Journalism School Completed Programme at Sirius Educational Centre

Antonina Davydova have learned the theory and gained practical skills of creating media texts in the form of longreads, photo reports, news articles, interviews, reviews and materials of other genres under the guidance of professors of the Department of Theory & History of Journalism for two years.

The best works of the Journalism School graduates traditionally go to press. Antonina’s article “Educational Function of Media Projects on Books and Reading” was published in collected volume “Current Issues of Journalism” in April 2019, while collected papers “Current Issues of Modern Journalism and Media Communications”, timed to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) includes her works “Memory of a Heart” and “Interview with a War Child”, prepared under the supervision of Head of the ASU Department of Theory & History of Journalism Galina Belolipskaya.

The student’s solid creative portfolio, formed thanks to her participation in project “School of Journalism” helped her pass the competition and become a participant of educational programme “Homo Legens. Reading Human” at Sirius educational centre, Sochi. The participants engaged in literary activity during the whole shift: they created their own texts, wrote reviews, attended master classes in literature and editing and pursued answers to some complicated questions like “Paper riffle or e-books?” or “What should a modern programme in literature be?” The participants also developed their philological intuition and even created their own literary game.
