ASU Students Come Back from “Student Spring” Final in Rostov-on-Don

Performers of the university’s cultural centre, qualified upon results of the regional stage of the contest, represented Astrakhan State University at the all-Russia stage of the young competition in categories “Experimental Dance Form” and “Stage Dancing”.

The competition lasted three days. Participants performed at various stages, attended master classes and took part in prize drawing and parties. The dancers also participated in additional open-air concert of festival “Russian Student Spring”.

“Along with ASU students, there were other guys in the Astrakhan delegation too. We managed to timely support them, and so did they. On the arrival day, we all attended the spectacular opening ceremony of the festival, and we’re still impressed by it,” tells choreographer of the cultural centre Alfiya Sarsenova. As the coach says, the university team performed very decently, emotionally and made no mistakes.

According to Alfiya Sarsenova, the atmosphere of friendship made the festival even more pleasant, because the feeling of unity and consolidation is a necessary element of such events.
