Start of Academic Year at ASU Department of Continuing Education

By tradition, Astrakhan State University launched its study courses of additional professional education on September 15. More than 300 students, who entered 15 programmes of professional re-training in different fields, took the opportunity to obtain a new qualification this academic year.
These are programmes both for university students who master additional professional programmes along with their Bachelor and Master’s degree majors and for those who already have a diploma of professional education. The list of programmes include traditional courses that are chosen by applicants every year — “Legal Science”, “Foreign Languages. Theory & Teaching Methods”, “Economy & Finances”, etc., as well as new programmes, designed upon request of enterprises and organizations of the real sector of economy of Astrakhan region like “Melioration”, “Technologies for Production and Processing of Agricultural Products”, “Chinese”.
Not all the participants of the professional retraining courses choose group studies. In the new academic year, 49 people will obtain an additional qualification, doing the programme by their individual learning track.
