ASU Student Is Medalist of Russian Canoeing and Kayaking Championship

The sporting competition for male and female juniors under 24 took place on September 22-27 on Lake Sazanka, Engels. More than 500 athletes from 29 regions of Russia took part in the competition.

Student of the Faculty of Physical Training & Sports of Astrakhan State University Anastasia Kandaurova decently represented her university and region.

She won golden medals in the 200-meter kayak-pairs competition and in the 200 and 500-meter kayak-fours competitions.

Besides, the ASU student won bronze medals in the 500 and 1,000-meter kayak-pairs competition and in the 200-meter relay.
