Liman Teachers Get to Know about Advantages of Astrakhan State University

The end of last week saw another meeting of ASU representatives with their colleagues from municipal entities of Astrakhan region. This time, the business meeting was held in the Limansky district.

The ASU delegation of Rector Konstantin Markelov, Vice Rector for Academic Activities Aleksandr Treshchev, Head of the Directorate for Pre-University Training & Students Admission Lyudmila Tovarnichenko and Dean of the Faculty of Digital Technologies & Cybersecurity Iskandar Azhmukhamedov met with Head of the Limansky district Mikhail Grebenshchikov and chiefs and teachers of local educational institutions. The event also involved Deputy Head of the Administration on Social and Legal Affairs Ivan Rykavishnikov and Head of the Education Directorate Tatiana Trofimova.

At the meeting, the representatives of Astrakhan State University told their colleagues about the main activities of the university, its structure and priority tasks. Besides, they discussed issues of cooperation within the 2021 Admission Campaign, and the Liman teachers got to know about advantages of studying at ASU and the targeted student recruitment.

Konstantin Markelov put forward a cooperation proposal on preparing local school leavers for the final state examinations for their further matriculation to our university in specialized programmes.
