Konstantin Markelov Speaks about ASU Participation in Regional Youth Policy in Moscow

The rector of Astrakhan State University presented his report within discussion session “It’s Great Here, or Where People Live Well in Russia” of all-Russia forum “Strong Ideas for New Times” which is being held by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and Roscongress on November 11-13.

Participants discussed what shall be done to make the regions more attractive for young people.

Konstantin Markelov told his colleagues that the key goal of ASU is to train top-class professionals. Astrakhan Governor Igor Babushkin also joined the event online. He noted that the regional authorities have always listened to the Astrakhan youth’s opinion and supported their initiatives to the benefit of the region with great pleasure.

On the second day of the forum, Rector of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov and Head of the Engineering Project Office Aleksey Titov attended panel discussion “Governors’ Club: Technological Development Drivers in Regions”, a meeting with leaders of competition “Strong Ideas for New Times”, online session “Map of the Future as a Planning Tool” and other tracks of the business programme.
