ASU Started Implementing “New Opportunities for Everyone”

The initiative, aimed at improving professional competences, will allow to upgrade the qualification of 3,200 specialists from different cities of Russia in 2020. Experienced tutors, an open-access educational platform, various learning materials, dynamic educational tracks, online lectures and seminars, master classes by invited practicing experts — all this will help the participants gain new competences, knowledge and skills.

This year, Astrakhan State University is presenting eight practice-oriented programmes of advanced training that can be done free of charge, since the programme is financed through the federal granting. Any specialist with vocational or higher education can participate in the project. The list of the programmes include:

• Modern Approaches to Land Resources Management at Regional Level;
• Integrated System of Agricultural Crops Protection;
• Modern Biotechnologies of Sturgeons Aquaculture;
• Pedagogical Design;
• Fundamentals of Lean Production;
• Organizational Fundamentals of Combatting Corruption;
• Ensuring Information Security in Remote Work;
• School Class Supervision: Organizational and Pedagogical Provision of Educational Process.

All the programmes are implemented online in the electronic educational environment. Upon completion of the course, the participants are to receive a basic-level advanced training certificate.
