Student of the Year 2020: ASU Wins in Two Categories

Yesterday, on December 6, the Russian national awards ceremony was held online. In order to obtain the title of the best student of Russia, the participants were to do a test on the Great Patriotic War, present their projects, give a master class and complete other tasks.

The results of the long and tight competition were finally summed up. Chair of the Astrakhan Branch Office of the Association of International Students and representative of the Tadzhikistan Association of Fellow-Countrymen Shakhrom Boboev won in category “International Student of the Year”, while the ASU Council for Quality of Education was recognized the best in category “Commission for Quality of Education of the Year”.

Students of higher educational institutions participated in 13 categories, and 10 categories were meant for students of vocational education institutions. There were both individual categories like “Chair of Students’ Council of the Year”, “Intelligence of the Year”, “Social Activist of the Year”, “Creative Person of the Year”, “Athlete of the Year” and collective categories — “Volunteering Association of the Year», мCybersport Club of the Year» and “Student Media of the Year”.

Upon the competition results, the winners and awardees will receive memorable and valuable gifts and will be invited to take part in educational shift “Student of the Year” at Senezh management workshop of presidential programme “Russia — Country of Opportunities”.
