ASU Joins Belgorod World-Level Scientific & Educational Centre

Astrakhan State University has signed an agreement on cooperation with Scientific & Educational Centre “Innovative Solutions in Agro-Industrial Complex”. ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov and Head of the Belgorod Directorate of Science Ekaterina Zhuravleva exchanged the copies of the signed document at the 7th national exhibition VUZPROMEXPO.

The partnership is aimed at uniting scientific and educational efforts in order to create groundbreaking technology and highly competitive products for the agro-industrial complex.

“Along with other participants of the SEC, ASU will work on the projects in the sphere of crop production, the sector digitalization, genetics and selection. Scientists of our university will be able to offer their efficient solutions on improving agriculture in different regions of our country, and to adapt them to the needs of Astrakhan region”, says ASU Vice Rector for Research Anna Fedotova.

The Scientific & Educational Centre “Innovative Solutions in Agro-Industrial Complex” is one of the five pilot world-level scientific and educational centres of Russia, created upon the instructions of the RF government. Now ASU is a full member of the Belgorod SEC.
