ASU Will Participate in Implementation of Strategic Academic Leadership Programme of MPEI

Today, Astrakhan State University has concluded an agreement on cooperation with the National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” (MPEI) within the framework of VUZPROMEXPO exhibition. The document was signed by ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov and MPEI First Vice Rector Vladimir Zamolodchikov.

The agreement will allow ASU to take part in the strategic academic leadership programme of the Moscow university. The cooperation implies implementation of joint promising projects in the sphere of renewable energy.

Besides, Konstantin Markelov and the MPEI management agreed to create new student mobility programmes — the students will study at ASU during the first year, followed by a study year at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute.

Professors of the two universities will draft curricula within the strategic academic leadership programme by September 2021, and the new educational programmes are going to be launched from the beginning of the new academic year.
