ASU Students Compete in Russian Business History

The regional stage of the 6th all-Russia competition in the Russian entrepreneurship history has been held in Astrakhan region. It is the third year Astrakhan State University has hosted the competition.

The university ensured a high level of the event organization. The competition took place at the Sector of Management Consulting of the ASU Department of Continuing Education.

Chair of the Astrakhan Branch Office of Business Russia Nailya Nikitina wished the participants success and expressed her confidence that the issues under discussion will surely encourage the participants to learn more about the history of arts patronage in Ancient Russia and biographies of people after which different streets, bridges, monuments in Russia and particularly in Astrakhan are named.

This year, the competition jury consists of the chief of the Department of State Support of Entrepreneurship of the Ministry of Economic Development in Astrakhan region, a researcher of the Historical Department of the Astrakhan State United Historical & Architectural Museum-Reserve, deans of faculties and the chief of the ASU Sector of Management Consulting, as well as top-qualification teachers.

The competition committee chose the winners on the very day of the event. They will be awarded certificates of winners and valuable gifts, while all the entrants will receive certificates of participation.
