ASU Sums up Results of Socialization Festival

Yesterday, on December 15, the Event Hall of the Cultural Centre of Astrakhan State University hosted gala concert “Battle of Choruses: Great Victory” and the ceremony of awarding the prizewinners and nominees of the competition.

According to the festival regulations, the students prepared for their performance from October until December. This time, the socialization project was dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and was held to promote the heroical history and military glory of the Fatherland and cultivation of respect for the memory of its defenders.

For three days, the students acquainted the audience with the reality of this dreadful event in the history of our country through dances, songs, poems and visual backup.

ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov congratulated the participants on the end of another season of the socialization project.

Upon the jury’s decision, title “Nominee of Socialization Project “Battle of Choruses: Great Victory” was given to the Faculty of Agribusiness, Technologies & Veterinary Medicine, while all the faculties of Astrakhan State University, the ASU College and ASU Branch in Znamensk became prizewinners of the competition.
