ASU and Sber Will Keep Implementing Major Joint Projects in 2021

Astrakhan State University has hosted a ceremony of signing a roadmap on implementation of a Sberbank platform-based project on digitalization at ASU. The event involved Rector Konstantin Markelov and Managing Director of the Sberbank Branch Office in Astrakhan and member of the university’s Board of Overseers Roman Dubinsky.

Despite the epidemiologic situation in 2020, university’s scientists and Sberbank employees have organized a series of meetings and implemented joint projects on development of financial cybersecurity applications, ecology, wastes processing and separation, development of a mobile app for students and a lot more.

The rector particularly noted the fact that Sber is one of those large companies that actively develop new platforms and projects in the sphere of digitalization and informatization, that is why Sber and Astrakhan State University have a lot of things in common to develop cooperation.

According to Roman Dubinsky, now the work on the Sberbank digital platform is under way. The guest hopes that Sber and ASU will form a strong team, capable of creating a top-level service.

Roman Dubinsky also gave a gift to Astrakhan State University — one of Sber products, recently presented by Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank Herman Gref to President Vladimir Putin. SberBox is a multifunctional smart-TV box for family use with the world’s first family of digital assistants.
