Student of ASU College Receives Award from Russian President

Second-year student of the College of Astrakhan State University Timur Muratyazov, who studies in programme “Electrification and Automation of Agriculture”, has been awarded commemorative medal “For Selfless Contribution to Organization of All-Russia Mutual-aid Campaign “We Are Together” on behalf of the head of State.

The nationwide initiative involved more than 17.5 thousand volunteers, members of the public and those Russians who’re just concerned about this issue.

We Are Together campaign was launched on March 21, 2020 by dobro.ru platform, the All-Russia People’s Front and a number of volunteering organizations. It was aimed at supporting elderly people, citizens with limited mobility and health professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In June 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a regulation on establishment of commemorative medal “For Selfless Contribution to Organization of All-Russia Mutual-aid Campaign “We Are Together” due to its high social importance.
