ASU Staff and Students Receive Well-Deserved Awards from Rector

On January 25, Konstantin Markelov acknowledged the achievements of several professors and students at another meeting of the Academic Council of Astrakhan State University.

Associate Professor of the Department of English Language for Humanities Marina Golubeva, Head of the Unit of Additional Professional Education Elena Metelskaya and Professor of the Department of Biotechnology, Zoology & Aquaculture Lyudmila Sukhenko were awarded certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Science of Astrakhan region for their long-term dedicated work in the sphere of education and high professionalism.
 

A Ph.D. IT student, three students studying in programme “Electronics & Nanoelectronics” and a Master’s degree student studying in programme “Bioengineering Systems & Technology” received certificates of scholarship holders of Smart Scholarship competition, granted by Education and Science of the Southern Federal District endowment fund and Center-Invest Bank.

Associate Professors of the Department of Pedagogics & Continuing Professional Education Lyudmila Milyaeva and Nailya Remizova and Head of the Department of Pedagogics, Psychology & Humanities of the ASU Branch in Znamensk Bella Rykova were awarded certificates of the winners of Professor of the Year 2020 competition, issued by New Science international centre of scientific partnership.

Besides, Director of the Department for Communities Development and Initiatives Promotion Angelina Fadina received a letter of gratitude from the Astrakhan administration for active participation of the ASU Boiling Point Centre in the city’s life, right on the day of the opening of the new venue.
