ASU Rector Will Join Club of the Funny and Inventive

On February 5, Konstantin Markelov met with the Club of the Funny and Inventive (KVN) team of Astrakhan State University “Rendezvous” which had won a bronze medal in the first festival of the KVN Student League of Astrakhan region and also won in category “Best Joke”.

The ASU students were awarded in other categories too. Student of the Law Faculty Maria Valentyuk was recognized the best actress, and student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Nikita Zubanov — the best actor.

The ASU team “Rendezvous” is formed by students of the Law Faculty, Faculty of Pedagogical Education, Arts, Service & Culture and Faculty of Foreign Languages.

The semi-final of the festival of the KVN Student League of Astrakhan region takes place in March and will qualify finalists of the competition. Rendezvous has already started preparing their items and invited the university’s rector to take part in one of them.

Konstantin Markelov agreed to participate in the competition together with the team with great pleasure and wished them luck in the upcoming game.
