ASU Students Demonstrate Their Knowledge of Databases

Students of the Faculty of Digital Technologies & Cybersecurity of Astrakhan State University took part in the regional round of the all-Russia professional competition on using the 1C Accounting software and in the international competition of programming accounting and analytical tasks on the 1C Enterprise 8 platform.

The competitions, initiated by 1C Company (Russia), were held at our university on February, 19. 1C-Rarus Company is the official organizer of the competition in Astrakhan.

The event brought together 4th-year Bachelor’s degree students and Master’s degree students of the 1st and 2nd study years of major “Applied Mathematics and Computer Science”. All of them demonstrated their knowledge of databases. The best participants will be qualified for the all-Russian stage which takes place in March 2021 online.

The competition is aimed at improving the professional training quality, finding gifted and talented students and ensuring their further intellectual development and career guidance.
