ASU Representatives Discuss Strategies for Commercialization of Intellectual Activity Results with Colleagues

Members of the Engineering Project Office of Astrakhan State University took part in a videoconference session of the Interdepartmental Communication Platform for Innovative Development.

The online meeting, organized by the National Association for Technology Transfer and the Club of Directors in Science and Innovation, was aimed at the exchange of experience and best practices of universities and scientific organizations in the field of commercialization of the intellectual activity results and interaction with partners in the technology transfer market.

The event scope was outlined as “Strategies for Commercialization in Universities and Scientific Organizations. Checkup for Intellectual Activity Results. Technological Research Institute as a Tool for Technology Transfer. Cases of Startups at Intersection of Academia and Businesses”.

At the meeting, the participants learned

• what risks are revealed with an express audit of the system for intellectual activity results management, offered by National Association for Technology Transfer to the universities that join the association;
• how Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod carries out technology transfer with the help of the Scientific & Research Institute of Physics & Technology;
• about cases of successful generation and market launch of DeepTech startups, created through cooperation between the academia and businesses.
