Schoolchildren’s View of ASU: Prospective Applicants Get Acquainted With University

Today, 10-11th grade schoolchildren from Narimanov district have been shown Astrakhan State University. The children were told about the advantages of studying at ASU and the opportunities that may open up for them.

The career-guidance event was opened by Vice-Rector for Academic Activities Aleksandr Treshchev. He told the prospective applicants about the advantages of studying at Astrakhan State University and answered topical questions about the admission campaign in 2021.

The visitors began their acquaintance with the university from the Scientific Library, a popular place among the students. From there, the schoolchildren went on a real journey through the offices and laboratories of the university.

As the children say, student life at ASU is on their taste, and some of them did not even know about so many interesting study programmes. Many of them considered attending the upcoming welcome week events in order to learn more about the faculties they like and to ask questions of interest.
