Atlas of New Professions Is Presented at Astrakhan State University

On March 22, the Department of Youth Project Activities Promotion & Support held event “Atlas of Professions of the Future” at the ASU Boiling Point Centre.

11th-grade Astrakhan schoolchildren and freshers of the university were invited to the meeting.

In her welcoming speech, Nuria Zinalieva, Head of the Department of Youth Project Activities Promotion & Support, noted that the Atlas of Professions of the Future can suggest even today where to start a successful career tomorrow.

Executive Director of the Fabrika Technopark of Astrakhan Vyacheslav Zhirov spoke about the Atlas of New Professions. In his report, he mentioned the challenges of the future, supra-professional skills and professions of the future. Then psychologist and career advisor of educational center “Attestatus” Yulia Portnova gave the schoolchildren advice on how to choose a profession, talked about their demand in the labor market, requirements for an applicant and the development of soft skills. The interactive platform, functioning as part of the event, helped its participants reveal the peculiarities of their personality.
