Students from Six More Countries Can Get back to ASU

In accordance with the Order No. 814-r of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 31, 2021, foreign students from Venezuela, Germany, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka are allowed to return to Russia to continue their studies. The corresponding procedure has been developed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

Astrakhan State University will provide the students with the list of states, which is regularly updated by Rospotrebnadzor, that are approved for the entry of foreign students into Russia; they will be informed, among other means, through user accounts on the website, as well as through official pages in social media and messengers.

Step-by-step instructions on the actions to be taken by the foreign students, Ph.D. candidates, medical residents, and preparatory faculty students before arriving in Russia and in the first weeks after, will be sent to them by e-mail, posted on universities’ websites and in social media.
