ASU Sums Up Results of MovieTheatre Festival of Socialization Projects

Members of the Cultural Center of Astrakhan State University performed a scene from Leonid Gaidai’s film “It Can’t Be!” and held a ceremony of awarding laureates and nominees.

Rector Konstantin Markelov congratulated the participants on the end of the season of the festival called “Comedy MovieTheatre”. The rector recalled his student years and emphasized that it is participation in such projects that leaves memories for a lifetime. He also reminded that the purpose of such events is to organize innovative project activities aimed at involving students in a wider social and cultural community, building and expanding efficient communications, developing social and role mobility and proactive behavior, developing leadership qualities, creative thinking and teamwork spirit.

That evening, deans, processors and students came to the Cultural Center of Astrakhan State University to support their teams.

For three days, young talents presented their performances to the respected jury and spectators, immersing the audience in the world of cinema, in which everyone could see their favorite national and foreign comedies.

At the awarding ceremony, members of the ASU Cultural Center played mini performance “Wedding Event” from the film “It Can't Be!” that amused the audience, and Konstantin Markelov noted that the comedy was filmed in Astrakhan and is very loved by the residents of our region.
