ASU Scientists Carry Out R&D Task for Oil & Gas Industry

Director of the Engineering Center Akim Pavlov and Director of the Institute of Physics & Mathematics Aleksey Rybakov are examining technological requests of Technoliga Group, Obninsk.

Involvement of the scientists of Astrakhan State University in addressing production problems of the oil and gas enterprise became possible through the concluded agreement on cooperation between ASU and Technoliga Group.

From June 22 to June 25, the university staff will analyze the available automated and intelligent systems for test benches for well finishing equipment components and determine the potential for their improvement. In addition, the ASU representatives will study the technologies for using elastomers in wells and will develop mechanisms for their optimization.

This list of works is part of the R&D task, assigned after the visit of Technoliga Technical Director Anton Shabarshov to Astrakhan State University in early June 2021.
