ASU Improves Its Positions in Annual National Ranking Again

Interfax International Information Group has presented the 12th National University Ranking for 2021. 341 universities of Russia were evaluated within the framework of the project. The ranking includes all high-profile universities of the country. Astrakhan State University got 364 points and ranked 124th.

Compared to the result of 2020, ASU has moved up on the ranking list by 8 positions.

Universities were assessed by such parameters as educational activity, research activities, social environment, international and interregional cooperation, branding, innovation and technological entrepreneurship. This year, the highest indicator of Astrakhan State University is internationalization (62nd position).

Over the past three years, ASU indicators in the National University Ranking have been increasing steadily. In 2021, two universities of Astrakhan region are included in the ranking. Astrakhan State Medical University ranked 217th this year.
